API
Topoo API object families, authentication boundaries, versioning rules, and current availability.
The Topoo API is the planned automation boundary for clients that need direct, structured access to the Topoo control plane.
The API must expose Topoo objects rather than provider-specific deployment commands.
Object families
The target API is organized around:
- Accounts and Workspaces
- Projects and Nodes
- Agent identities and Session Grants
- Source Bindings and Base Revisions
- Checkpoints and Submissions
- Checks, Node Versions, and Artifacts
- Project Releases
- Environments, Resources, and Deployments
- approvals, rollback, and audit events
Authentication and authority
Authentication proves which account or integration is calling. Authorization determines which Workspace, Project, Node, Resource, Environment, and action the caller may access.
An API credential must not imply all of the following at once:
- account access
- Project configuration access
- Agent Session execution
- Production approval
Production promotion should require an explicit policy decision for one exact accepted Release Artifact Set.
API contract requirements
Before an API is treated as public, Topoo needs:
- a verified base URL and versioning policy
- an OpenAPI or equivalent machine-readable contract
- OAuth scopes or narrowly scoped service credentials
- stable identifiers and pagination conventions
- idempotency rules for mutations
- error and rate-limit contracts
- webhook signing and replay protection
- audit coverage for every authority-changing action
Current availability
This page defines the API boundary; it is not a claim that a public Topoo API is available today. The documentation must not invent endpoint URLs, tokens, request examples, or completion status before a deployed API contract is verified.
When the public contract exists, this page should become the API entry point and link to authentication, endpoint reference, SDKs, webhooks, errors, and changelog pages.
